EurekaSound releases the Baitar™ & Buitar™

The Combination Bass & Guitar that Plays Like a 6-String

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 5th, 2013 - EurekaSound LLC is proud to announce the release of the Baitar™ and Buitar™, novel instruments that are a combination of bass and guitar, but they play like standard 25.5" scale 6-string guitar.

Both the Baitar™ and Buitar™ have single string pickups that can be combined into a single mono channel, or split to stereo, with the bass strings on one channel and the guitar strings on the other. Standard features include:

  • Poplar bodies with a black finish
  • Maple neck and fretboard
  • Hipshot tuners
  • ABM single string bridges
  • 3D-printed nut and pickup adjustment mechanism
  • Plus much more

"We personally love guitars and basses" said David Graham, co-founder of EurekaSound. "We set out to add something new to the guitar genre, but at the same time not stray to far from the instrument we all love. The Baitar and Buitar delivers on that goal - the widest frequency range of any 6-string guitar on the planet, but eminently recognizable and playable."
