Modes

Switch between modes with UP/DOWN pedals.

1) EF: Effects

Notes:
  • Turn Effects on/off!
  • Supports 1 MIDI cable (FCB MIDI out-to-Effects processor MIDI in).
  • LEDs do not automatically update, but they still have state, three in fact: off, on, blip (for unknown effects state).
  • The CC#'s listed above are the defaults - you can change them to any CC#.

2) Pr: Presets

Notes:
  • Enter Presets 0-127, Banks 0-9 & '-' (for no preceding bank).
  • Select Banks with Pedal 1 & 6. Bank displayed in 7-segment display.
  • Use Pedals 2-4 & 7-9 to select specific preset. Displayed in 7-segment display.
  • Press Pedal 5 to send the MIDI Program Change command.
  • With Pedal 10 on, a Program Change command is sent with each preset/bank change. With Pedal 10 off, Pedal 5 must be pressed for the Program Change command to be sent.
  • Default preceding bank is CC#0, value = bank#. You can change the default value from 0.

3) FP: Favorite Presets

Notes:
  • Store 10 of your favorite Presets for 1 press recall!
  • To store a Preset:
    • In Pr mode, select preset, press Send (Pedal 5).

    • Press and hold the pedal you wish to store the Preset for ~5 seconds. The 7-segment display will flash when stored.

PP FAQ

What's the difference between Basic & Advanced PP programming setting?
Advanced PP programming allows you to set the MIDI channel per EF pedal, per Expression Pedal, and per Pr mode.

What do I need for this setup?
A Behringer FCB1010, a MIDI cable, and a MIDI controlled device (plus that device's MIDI manual).

Are there specific examples of how to set up this configuration with device X?
Check out posts on our forum, and post questions on the forum regarding specific setups.

Do the default settings work with a specific effect device?
The defaults work with the Fractal Axe, BOSS RC-50, and others.  Let us know.
